The engines remained the same for the ’05-’10 production years with the base model engine pushing 210hhp and the GT producing 300 hp, but the exterior was redesigned again in 2010 to reduce the drag. The emblem was also changed and the headlights were redesigned to include integrated turn signals. The sequential turn indicator LED taillights were also added in 2010. The changes were unveiled in November of 2008 and it went on sale in spring of 2009. In 2012 a new Mustang Boss was introduced, with 444 hp & 380 lb ft torque. In 2012 the Shelby GT500 for 2013 was announced with a new 5.8 L supercharged V8. The new styling focused on a redesign of front end and grille. This is the first generation Mustang to be sold in Japan in left hand drive form. In 2012 the Cobra Jet was introduced, but limited to 50 units, it is not street legal, but is still considered a production car. 2013 brought another facelift, a larger grille, and LED accent strips on the now standard HID headlights.
