Returns & Replacements

We at Dallas Mustang try to make merchandise returns and exchanges as easy and efficient as possible. To do so, you must read and follow the instructions in this notice.

Product returns/exchanges:

  • Have your invoice in hand. Call our Customer Service Department at 1-214-349-0991 (Tollfree 1-800-MUSTANG) to obtain a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER.
  • Your return authorization number MUST be clearly marked on the outside of your package near your address. Any packages received by DallasMustang.com without prior authorization, or without a clearly marked return authorization number, will not be accepted from the shipper.
  • Send your return merchandise PREPAID via UNITED PARCEL SERVICE (UPS.) We DO NOT accept return COD's or shipments from any other carrier. This ensures Dallas Mustang can accurately track your return.
  • All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returned items must be in perfect, uninstalled, "as new" condition, in original packaging. No refund/credit will be extended for ANY merchandise returned in unsatisfactory condition, and the item(s) will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.
  • Order shortages or errors must be reported within 7 days of receipt. Returns must be made within 30 days of receipt. There are no returns after 30 days.
  • There are NO returns on special orders, electrical items or literature.

Freight Charges:

  • Freight charges WILL be reimbursed if you received a defective part or if the part you ordered is not the one you received.
  • Freight charges WILL NOT be reimbursed if you ordered the wrong part or you decided you don't need or want the item.

Damaged Freight/Truckline Merchandise:

  • Dallas Mustang takes every precaution to ensure your merchandise will arrive in new, complete and intact. However, shipping accidents occasionally occur.
  • DO NOT RETURN FREIGHT/SHIPPING DAMAGED PARTS TO DALLAS MUSTANG!!! We are not responsible for freight/shipping damage, and cannot assist you with your claim. Inspect your order immediately and completely while your delivery driver is present. If you discover any freight/shipping damage, DO NOT call Dallas Mustang. Have your delivery driver note the damage in writing and contact the delivering company to file your claim. They will take the necessary steps to reimburse you. If you do not follow this procedure, the carrier may not honor your claim and the loss will become your sole responsibility.

Damaged Merchandise:

  • Dallas Mustang takes every precaution to ensure your merchandise will arrive in new, complete and intact. However, shipping accidents occasionally occur.
  • Inspect your order immediately and completely. If you discover any shipping damage, email shipping@dallasmustang.com and provide your invoice number and the item number of the damaged item.
  • You must notify us of damaged items within 7 days of the delivery of your order.

Missing Merchandise:

  • Dallas Mustang takes every precaution to ensure all pieces of your order are shipped. However, packing errors occasionally occur.
  • Inspect your order immediately and completely when it arrives. Verify each item that is on the invoice has been delivered.
  • If you discover that items are missing from your order please email shipping@dallasmustang.com and provide your invoice number and the item(s) that are missing.
  • You must notify us of missing items within 7 days of the delivery of your order.

Core Exchange and Credit Policy

  • All orders requiring a product core return will be assessed the full core charge. Credit for the returned core will be issued subject to the following:
  • Returned cores must be the exact type (vehicle make, model, year and application) as the purchased item. Incorrect cores may receive partial or no credit at the discretion of  Dallas Mustang.
  • Returned cores should be fully assembled. Disassembled cores must include all parts. Incomplete cores may receive partial or no credit at the discretion of Dallas Mustang.
  • Returned cores must be in rebuildable condition as defined by Dallas Mustang or third-party rebuilder. Cores determined to be un-rebuildable will receive no credit.
  • Cores should be cleaned and must be drained of all fluids prior to shipping. There may be additional charges for returned cores containing fluids.
  • All core returns must be postmarked within 10 calendar days of our invoice date for full credit. Cores returned after 20 calendar days may receive only partial credit. Cores returned after 30 calendar days will receive no credit.
  • Credits for returned cores will only be made after examination of the returned core - typically within 5 days of receipt. Customers will be notified of the condition of the core and the total amount of credit within 10 days of receipt.
  • Dallas Mustang's decisions regarding returned cores and core credits are final.

Pricing Error Policy

  • If an item's correct price is higher than our posted price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
