If this is the same dye I purchased about 2 years ago it is great. As a 40 year custom car builder I have had several occasions where color-match was not up to par. A dash pad comes to mind. After cleaning with soap and water, thorough drying, then wiping with a dry paper towel, I wiped the dash pad with lacquer thinner...not too much but enough to know it had been done. Then two even coats of dye and, presto, a perfect match to Mustang Bright Red interior. The thinner opens the pores allowing the dye to "attack" the vinyl. At least that is how I would describe it...and it worked. Two years and many miles later it is still a perfect match and not coming off! Review by Charlie (Posted on 4/23/2016)
